Fr Markus Schlagnitweit 01
Austrian actor priest

The man in shorts, above at right, is Fr. Markus Schlagnitweit of the Diocese of Linz, Austria. He is a parish priest of the Linz Catholic University Community and, along with other official positions, he is a member in good standing of the Iustitia et Pax [Justice and Peace] Commission of the Conference of Austrian Bishops.

Fr. Schlagnitweit is an amateur actor. Above he is performing in the play Tales from the Vienna Woods by Odon von Horvath. It is amazing to see in his various performances the lack of modesty of this priest, who should be a model of good customs for his parishioners and students. It is needless to say that Bishop Ludwig Schwarz of Linz has full knowledge of Fr. Schlagnitweit’s artistic activities and approves them. Below, first row, two other shots from the same show where the actor-priest appears in immoral poses with women.

A graphic photo from this performance may be seen here.

In the second row below the priest appears in a Holy Week ceremony at his parish surrounded by a choir of children. In the third and fourth rows, indecent poses taken from other performances displayed on the priest’s website (1, 2, 3, 4, 5)

The Diocese of Linz is under the authority of the Archdiocese of Vienna, whose head is Cardinal Christoph Schönborn, a dear friend and protected disciple of Benedict XVI.

To assist in recognition, different photos of the priest are available here. On the website of the Diocese of Linz, more photos on Fr. Schlagnitweit’s parish ceremonies during Holy Week are available here.

TIA thanks Dr. F.W. from Germany for the data on Fr. Markus Schlagnitweit, which he sent to be posted in this section, Church Revolution in Pictures.
